Therefore, this master’s program has been designed to integrate the key aspects of energy efficiency and the incorporation of renewable energy into engineering projects—such as buildings and facilities designed to replace fossil fuels or to generate electricity and feed it directly into the grid.
Objectives
- Students will be able to achieve the following:
- Manage building and facility energy efficiency and renewable energy projects based on the comprehensive implementation of all associated technical, legal, and economic aspects.
- Learn how to approach and manage building energy efficiency and renewable energy system integration projects.
- Learn and apply building energy management and renewable energy technologies.
- Conduct technical-economic studies and feasibility analyses on energy efficiency and renewable energy
- Learn the legal and administrative aspects associated with energy efficiency and renewable energy projects
- Calculate CO2 emissions avoided through fossil fuel replacement projects according to official methodologies
